Where is the love this Valentine's Day?

Why you may ask? Through our analysis of streets data, we have found that Brisbane has the most “love” streets in the country. If you’re not convinced yet, Brisbane is also home to many romantic streets such as Aphrodite Street, Valentine Street, Date Court, Champagne Crescent and Diamond Way. It can’t get more romantic than that.

If that doesn’t convince you, perhaps having a look at where we have the most married people live could convince you. The romantic suburb of Camden Haven, on NSW’s Mid Coast, seems to be the area with the most love as over 50 per cent of their population are married. This is the highest out of any significant urban area in the country.

Yet we can’t forget about those double income couples with no kids. Melbourne has a significantly higher amount of DINKs than anywhere else in the country. These couples with greater financial freedom and less responsibilities may mean that it is easier for them to celebrate Valentine’s Day. So Melbourne may be the city with the most love this Valentine’s Day.
