Christian Hamilton and Mitch Peereboom have taken the reins of Ray White Wilston, a blue chip business that owes much of its success to the extraordinary career of its leader, Alistair Macmillan.

A Chairman’s Elite performer, Alistair - who has been at the forefront of industry innovation - has led the Wilston business for more than 20 years.

What began as a modest venture in 2004 with just two staff members has grown and flourished into a market leading operation with community values at its core.

Ray White Wilston stands out by adhering to a simple principle: better people make better businesses.

As Alistair passes the torch to Mitch and Christian, he will continue to play a pivotal role concentrating on his own individual sales business within the Wilston operation.

Mitch and Christian, known for their dedication to hard work and commitment to excellence, are excited to build upon Ray White Wilston’s foundations.

“It is our ambition to build out one of the finest real estate businesses, not only in the Ray White Group here in Queensland but in the entire industry,” Christian said.

“The legacy of the Ray White Wilston business will give us an enormous opportunity to build upon something moving at pace, with a strong name in the local market.

“With Alistair still very much a part of the team, our business will be one that respects its heritage but builds towards its ultimate potential by using the core tenets; the support of high performing agents as well as a steadfast commitment to auctions.

“These were key reasons why we aligned so closely with the Ray White Group and this opportunity.”

Jason Andrew, CEO of Ray White Queensland said Mitch and Christian were outstanding leaders who have demonstrated their appetite to grow one of the leading businesses in Queensland and the country.

“What makes this such a special partnership is our belief that this will occur the right way; with one eye dedicated to the people who have made this business so special and another firmly on the people who will ensure that Ray White Wilston’s best days are still ahead,” Mr Andrew said.

“Ray White Queensland is committed to our collective ambition of being best in market and we believe that Ray White Wilston and its new owners will give us significant momentum as we lead towards the Olympics in 2032 and beyond. Our best days are still ahead.”

Alistair Macmillian said the decision to sell Ray White Wilston had not been made lightly. “It has been a place of growth, learning, and community connection. However, recognising the need for change and evolution, I have decided to pass the torch to Mitch and Christian who will continue the legacy of excellence that Ray White Wilston represents.

“I am genuinely enthusiastic about the possibilities that lie ahead for the business under new ownership. I look forward to supporting and assisting the new proprietors for many years to come as they take the helm and steer Ray White Wilston in new and innovative directions.”
