Ray White Queensland: Continually striving for more

CEO - Ray White Queensland
Month in review
Ray White in Queensland sold $1.58 billion worth of property in May, easily usurping the 12-month rolling average of $1.45 billion. With this in mind, it feels inappropriate to say that the eventual trading figures for the month felt somewhat disappointing. To elaborate, May promised to be one of our biggest months on record based on stock levels applied against historic list to sell ratios, but failed to fully materialise.
Interestingly, we made circa 225,000 calls using NurtureCloud. Ultimately, we are all in the business of leads. This is the currency that we must invest in.
Auctions
One sizable increase that we have seen year on year is our auction volume. We conducted 646 auctions through the month of May 2024, up 19 per cent year on year. We had a 70 per cent clearance rate with 5.5 registered bidders per auction that we conducted. Our internal auction share as a company now sits at 36 per cent, up from 32.5 per cent last year. We need to continue to double down on competition creation as we steadfastly pursue our ambition of 10,000 auctions throughout the course of a year.
Brisbane Lions partnership
With leads at the forefront of all of our minds, it is with great excitement that we announce that we are now the official real estate partner of the Brisbane Lions. Our partnership arrangement follows our South Australian and Victorian businesses who have sponsored Port Adelaide and bannering sponsorship at the MCG respectively. In conjunction with our traditional property and personal marketing, our partnerships in this forum allow our company to deepen our presence and be seen by millions of people each year.
Brisbane 100 campaign
We are now well into our Brisbane 100 campaign. The Brisbane 100 campaign can be separated into three key areas of focus.
Celebrating 100 years of Ray White in Brisbane. We all know the family story of Ray starting in the Darling Downs in Crows Nest in 1902. The lesser known story is that of Ray coming down the range to set up in Queensland's capital, Brisbane in 1924. That is what the Brisbane 100 campaign first and foremost celebrates.
The creation of the entity, the Voice of Queensland Property. We have signalled very strongly our intention to be the voice of Queensland real estate when the eyes of the world turn to us in 2032. The inaugural panel of Queensland industry leaders will position our business well amongst our customers as we ambitiously strive to take our place as the preeminent thought leader for property commentary in Queensland.
The Brisbane 100 Auction Experience. It is our ambition to conduct 200 auctions on 21 July, 2024 at the Howard Smith Wharves. It is our subsequent ambition to clear at 70 per cent or above on the day. We will be dominant in The Courier Mail and also on realestate.com.au during this time, ensuring maximum exposure for all of our members and their customers.
