“The buyers own a Broome pearl business. This is going to be their new family home, they’ve been renting in East Fremantle for the last year or so,” Mr Rogers said.
“We had interest from all around Western Australia along with plenty of locals because it's an extraordinary home - totally unique to Fremantle.
“The drawcard for buyers was the large amenities such as a massive double garage and storage and the huge corner block. The location is also exceptional and the views across the memorial reserve are quite iconic.”

“The buyers are a young couple who have been looking for a long time, they are buying their first home and have two young kids,” Ms Hemery said.
“It’s an older home on a lovely cul-de-sac street with beautiful, old established trees all the way down the street and a lovely park and a lake at the end of the street.
“We’re still very low on stock, we’ve been low on stock for at least 12 months but there are a lot of buyers out there and we are seeing very busy campaigns.
“There are lots of people looking at this level and I think about four of the bidders walked off the street and came through for the first time this Saturday morning.
“It was a mix between two types of buyers, so young couples who will retain the house and renovate over time versus more established couples who were looking to knock the house down.
“I’d say the majority who were competing for it were looking to keep the house and maybe a quarter were thinking o
